I’d like to take a moment to address something that really has bothered me for a while. You don’t have to read on, but i’d like it if you would. Okay, if any of you have a twitter you have probably seen big parody accounts who all tweet the exact same things and for some unknown reason, get many retweets. These accounts tend to contradict themselves a lot. One of these accounts is @Dory, whose tweets have absolutely nothing to do with the fish Dory from Finding Nemo. In the pictures above you see this @Dory account tweeting about how he/she wishes that people at his/her school would promote good body imagine and no body shaming. This is an account that claims they stand for no body shaming and that everyone should love themselves the way they are. Yet the next tweet is a about Taylor Swift and is shaming her body. This account just completely contradicted themselves. I don’t get how this account can stand up for not body shaming then a day later shame a women’s body. I can also bet that most of the people who retweeted the tweet about no body shaming, also retweeted the one body shaming Taylor Swift. So it’s not just this accounts problem, the people who decided to hit the retweet button on both, it’s their problem as well. I do believe this account should be promoting good body image all around because if you have a lot of followers, why not put it to good use? Back on topic, a body is nothing to EVER be ashamed of. People should be taught to be proud of their body and not to be confused that certain people can be proud of their body and stand up for no body shaming, but other ones cannot. I believe everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, should be taught to love their body and be proud of their body and to never put another down for what they look like.

"We live for these fleeting moments of happiness."
